Setting Expectations and a Timeline Before you depart the listing appointment, make sure the owners know what to expect from you. A few things you might want to go over include: ● How often you will be in contact via phone, email, text or in person ● The pricing change schedule -- how soon will the price be lowered and how much, if the home does not sell right away ● What particular marketing strategies would be best for the home, such as an open house or print advertisements ● Regarding what days and times are best, how much notice to give them ● How soon they expect feedback after showings, and how they want feedback delivered
