Part 3: Turning Reviews into Referrals

After you’ve collected reviews from recent and past clients, it’s time to turn around and transform all those reviews into new business. When you share great reviews with an audience, you can earn referrals. You can also earn referrals through word of mouth from clients you’ve worked with. Chapter 8: How to Share Reviews with an Audience The glowing reviews people leave you about your real estate business are begging to be seen. Here are some of the best ways to make sure your reviews are receiving maximum exposure. Share Reviews on Your OwnWebsite Create a page on your website dedicated showcasing both video and written testimonials. Google, Facebook and Zillow all make it easy to share reviews on your own website with the help of a few simple codes or widgets. Google With the debut of the free “Google My Business” tool, you can easily keep track of what people say about your business on Google and link to your regular website. You can also view insights and do a bunch of other cool stuff. Facebook If you get a review on Facebook, it’s simple to embed it on your website. Simply go to the post’s menu in the upper right corner, click on “more options” and click on “embed post” to copy the link. You can then embed the code into a widget that adds a sidebar to the side or bottom of your site. Yelp Similar to Facebook, you can find options for an individual Yelp review, click the embed code, and paste it into a website widget. Note that you must be on a computer (not the Yelp app) to do this.
