Prep meals as much as possible so you have the time to engage with guests when they arrive. This might include cutting vegetables, making salads, or preparing appetizers. Have plenty of easy-to-grab snack options on hand. For convenience, freeze some meals ahead of time. Be sure to label them with contents and cooking directions. For breakfast, provide a self-serve station with juices, pastries, and oatmeal so guests can eat on their own schedule. Also, prepare a breakfast casserole for a quick meal that won’t require you to spend all of your time in the kitchen. While preparing for guests can be stressful, when you take the time to consider a few personal touches for the special people in your life, the holidays will be more enjoyable for everyone.
