In the summertime, it’s common for houseplant owners to move their plants outside so they can experience the fresh air and the sun, but most houseplants are tropical and need to be indoors during the winter, particularly in colder climates. However, it’s critical to acclimate your plants indoors to prevent them from going into “shock.”

Just because the outdoor gardening season is over doesn’t mean all of your plants have to hibernate. Some plants not only survive, but also thrive, indoors, regardless of the season. However, bringing your outdoor plants inside is not as easy as simply moving them from your yard into your home.
