Offer low-pressure real estate advice. Home improvement ideas, gardening and lawn tips, and decorating advice are great topics that are relevant to the services you offer but won’t come across as an attempt at a sales pitch. Include photo and video content. People love to look at photos and watch videos. Spruce up what you share with multimedia content or link to existing content. Send Holiday Postcards or Letters The effort you put into making a holiday card and sending it will go a long way with your real estate clients. Holidays are the perfect time to stay in touch with your past clients. It will increase your chances for referrals greatly. We have templates through our membership site to keep in touch with past clients at key times throughout the year. A few more examples appear later in this guide. Here is one example of a holiday letter that you might send to a client during the festive season.

Happy Holidays! I hope that you are getting into the spirit of the season with some fun gatherings with family and friends. As I reflect on the success of my business and the people who have mattered most to me, you and your family come to mind. I truly enjoyed working with you.

Send Holiday-Themed Emails For a less personal approach that still manages to be festive, you can send former clients an email wishing them a great holiday. Include a holiday image or graphic, and make it fun and animated! Include a fun and heartfelt holiday message (similar to the card message above) and, if you want to, add some “end of year” stats about your business. For example, you may want to include how many homes you sold this year.
