STRAWBERRY SPINACH SALAD
WITH TOASTED ALMONDS & BALSAMIC GLAZE
Ingredients:
z 4 cups fresh spinach leaves z 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced z 1/2 cup almonds, toasted and roughly chopped z 1/4 cup goat cheese, crumbled z 1/4 cup balsamic glaze z Optional: fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the almonds until they are golden and fragrant. Set aside to cool. 2. In a large salad bowl, combine the fresh spinach leaves and sliced strawberries. 3. Add the toasted almonds and crumbled goat cheese to the salad. 4. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the salad just before serving. 5. Gently toss the salad to combine all the ingredients. 6. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves if desired.
